Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was murdered and another injured in a double stabbing in south London. Officers were called to Croydon High Street at about 02:00 BST on Saturday to reports of an assault outside a pub. A 25-year-old man died at the scene and another was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. A 30-year-old man who was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder remains in police custody.
